Ingredients

Dough

200g Strong White Bread flour

3.5g dried yeast

125ml warm water

Sea salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

Garlic butter

1 tablespoon plant based spread

1 clove garlic

Handful of fresh parsley

Salt and pepper

Vegan cheese

Method

To make the dough dissolve the dried yeast in the water and leave to stand for 5 minutes. Meanwhile combine the flour with a pinch of salt.

Make a small well in the flour and pour in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and yeast mixture. Stir this well until it combines into a dough. Once the dough has formed tip it out onto a floured work surface and knead for 5 minutes, until you have a smooth and elastic ball of dough. 

Add the remaining olive oil to a mixing bowl and sit the dough in the bowl and leave it to rise for an hour.

Once the dough is ready, pre-heat your oven to 200C / 392F. Heat a sauce pan over a medium heat. Mince the garlic and finely chop the parsley. Add the vegan butter to the sauce pan and once melted add the garlic and parsley. Season with salt and pepper and stir everything to combine. This only needs to cook for a couple of minutes.

Set the sauce aside and return to the dough. Tip the dough out onto a floured surface and roll out into a pizza base. Pour the garlic butter and spread it out on the base and top with vegan cheese. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
